The second phase of Bihar elections is heating up as leaders from the NDA and Grand Alliance campaign actively. SP President and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav addressed a rally in Madhubani, urging support for RJD and Tejashwi Yadav.
Holding a lantern, Akhilesh said, “This is an LED lantern, not an oil lantern. We believe in modern thinking.” He recalled that his UP government distributed laptops to youth for education and jobs. He urged Tejashwi to help daughters ride bicycles, support their studies, and reward top-performing students with laptops.
Akhilesh also targeted the BJP, saying, “Those in Delhi and Lucknow don’t even know how to operate a laptop.” He warned voters to watch out for “Team A, Team B, and Team C,” hinting at political influences and referring to the Election Commission as “Team C.”
Confident of a Grand Alliance victory, he predicted the BJP would be “wiped out” after the polls. Akhilesh said Tejashwi’s leadership would bring new ideas, respect marginalized communities, and improve farmers’ prosperity. He added that both Bihar and upcoming UP elections require fresh leadership and active support from experienced leaders.
