Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will attend the funeral of noted poet and Telangana State Song writer Andesri. The funeral will be held tomorrow at NFC Nagar in Ghatkesar.
According to official sources, CM Revanth Reddy will pay floral tributes to Andesri’s mortal remains in the evening. After that, he will join Andesri’s family members, followers, and admirers during the final procession.
Earlier today, Andesri passed away after suffering a heart attack. Following his demise, CM Revanth Reddy directed Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao to conduct the funeral with full state honours. Arrangements for the ceremony have already begun under official supervision.
Andesri, who rose from a humble background as a shepherd to become one of Telangana’s most respected poets, was admired across the literary world. Many prominent personalities and literary figures have expressed deep shock and grief over his untimely death.
