AP Govt Signs MoU With Singapore at CII Summit

AP Singapore Development MoU aims at growth through sustainable development, digital reforms, and strong governance partnerships at CII summit.

The Andhra Pradesh Government signed an MoU with a Singapore delegation during the Visakhapatnam CII Partnership Conference. Minister Nara Lokesh said the AP–Singapore MoU marks the beginning of an excellent journey. He thanked the Singapore Government for giving Andhra Pradesh a second chance to collaborate.

Lokesh stated that under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s experienced leadership, Andhra Pradesh will achieve rapid growth. He added that the state hopes to match Singapore’s pace of development in the coming years. The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation in several key sectors that support long-term progress.

Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Industry, Gan Soh Hong, expressed confidence that the bond between AP and Singapore would grow stronger through this partnership. He said the state should move toward becoming a healthy, wealthy, and happy society through strategic reforms and modern practices.

Gan Soh Hong explained that both sides are entering agreements in sustainable development, digital transformation, and urban governance. He noted that these areas would elevate AP’s progress and help create efficient systems. The collaboration is expected to boost innovation, improve governance, and support a stronger economic framework for Andhra Pradesh.
