Tamil Thalaivas ended their home leg in style with a massive 56-37 victory over Patna Pirates in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 match at Chennai’s SDAT Indoor Stadium. Star raider Arjun Deshwal delivered a career-best performance, scoring 26 points, his highest ever in a single game. It was a special night for him as he achieved his 71st Super 10, moving up to third place in PKL history.
Nitesh Kumar supported him with a brilliant High Five, while Narender Kandola and Aashish added crucial points. The Thalaivas’ total of 56 points was the highest by any team this season. For Patna Pirates, Ayan Lohchab and Ankit Rana fought back with Super 10s, but their efforts could not change the result.
Early in the match, both teams traded blows with quick raids. However, the Thalaivas turned the game around after the first All Out, gaining a strong 30-19 lead by halftime. Arjun’s attacking rhythm and Nitesh’s tackles gave the hosts total control.
In the second half, despite a late Super Raid by Ayan Lohchab, the Thalaivas remained dominant. Arjun sealed the match with his record-breaking 26 points, leading Tamil Thalaivas to a 19-point win and a memorable home finish.
