Bihar witnessed a tense and eventful day with major political developments, serious road accidents, and strict police action across several districts. The developments kept both political circles and the public on edge.
Urban Development and Road Construction Minister Nitin Nabin was appointed as the BJP’s National Working President. The decision created excitement within the Bihar BJP. Party leaders said the move reflects the growing influence of Bihar in national politics.
Meanwhile, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal targeted the Congress rally held in Delhi. He described the protest as “theatrics” and said people clearly understand the reality behind such demonstrations.
In Patna, a shocking road accident took place on Digha Bridge. A truck collided with the car of Legislative Council member Bandidhar Brajwasi. The MLA alleged that the crash was an attempt to murder him. His driver and bodyguard survived after the vehicle’s air safety system activated.
Police action remained strong across the state. In Lakhisarai, officers seized a large quantity of foreign liquor being smuggled through a parcel van and arrested two people. In Bettiah, two youths were caught with a loaded pistol during routine vehicle checking.
