Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha are contesting from Tarapur and Lakhisarai, respectively. Bhojpuri actor Khesari Lal Yadav represents the RJD from Chhapra, while Jyoti Singh, wife of actor Pawan Singh, is contesting independently from Karakat.

Preeti Kinnar from Jan Suraaj is contesting from Bhorey, aiming to make history as a transgender candidate. In Mokama, strongman Anant Singh of JD(U) faces RJD’s Veena Devi. BJP’s Nitin Nabin seeks his fifth term from Patna’s Bankipur.
