Ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, a viral video featuring brothers Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav has sparked curiosity on social media. The clip shows Jan Shakti Janata Dal chief Tej Pratap shopping for a kurta at an airport store when a YouTuber playfully asked for a gift. Tej Pratap smiled and said he was buying it for himself. Moments later, a man informed him that his younger brother and Grand Alliance’s chief ministerial candidate, Tejashwi Yadav, was nearby.
Tejashwi greeted his brother warmly, raising his hand and joking, “Are you taking me shopping, brother?” The YouTuber chimed in, saying Tej Pratap was gifting him something. Tejashwi smiled and replied, “You’re very lucky.” Throughout the interaction, Tej Pratap stayed silent, returning to the shop to continue browsing. Mukesh Sahni, chief of the Vikassheel Insaan Party, accompanied Tejashwi during the exchange.
Tej Pratap, contesting from the Mahua constituency in Vaishali, recently formed the Jan Shakti Janata Dal after breaking away from his family and RJD. He has since launched several sharp attacks on Tejashwi, even mocking him as a “child” who deserves a rattle after the elections.
