Departments have reported around 1.75 lakh vacant posts. The government has instructed recruitment bodies to start hiring quickly. Applications and tests are being prepared to speed up the appointment process.
This Bihar Jobs drive is part of a five-year plan to employ one crore people. Officials asked all departments to update their vacancy lists by the end of December. This ensures smooth planning in the new year.
Most vacancies appear in the Home Department. Other departments include Education, Agriculture, Energy, and Health. Officials say the plan will reduce unemployment and give youths stable government jobs.
