The Bihar NDA seat-sharing deadlock continues as the BJP struggles to convince Chirag Paswan. The LJP-R leader is firm on his demands and wants an immediate announcement of the seat-sharing formula.
Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Nityanand Rai met Chirag Paswan in Delhi to end the dispute. Nityanand Rai, who was given the task to convince Chirag, met him twice on Thursday. Both leaders called the talks “positive,” but no deal was reached.
Chirag Paswan said that the nomination process will start soon, so decisions must be made quickly. He also noted that even smaller parties have not received clarity on their seats. LJP-R spokesperson Dhirendra Munna said meetings are happening fast but without clear results.
Chirag reminded the BJP that under PM Narendra Modi, his party had a 100% success rate in the Lok Sabha elections. He now wants the same coordination in the assembly polls. The Bihar NDA seat-sharing deadlock is delaying that goal and testing unity within the alliance.
