The CPI-ML has released its Bihar Parivartan Sankalp Patra ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections. The party promised land, homes, fair wages, and social justice for the poor and working class. The Bihar Parivartan Sankalp Patra focuses on giving 5 decimal land and houses to landless and homeless families in villages and 3 decimals in towns.
It includes government purchase of crops, a fair price guarantee, loan waivers for farmers and laborers, and 65% reservation for deprived communities. It also proposes Rs 2500 monthly aid for women, Rs 1500 pension for elders, Rs 3000 for the disabled, and an increase in daily wages to Rs 600.
The Bihar Parivartan Sankalp Patra pledges identity cards for sharecroppers, revival of farm markets, free electricity, ration, pension, and loan waivers up to Rs 2 lakh. It ensures job regularization, maternity leave, equal education, and control of private schools. The plan also supports minority rights, protection of Waqf properties, healthcare in every panchayat, and a ban on illegal mining.
Overall, the Bihar Parivartan Sankalp Patra aims to bring equality, justice, and security to Bihar’s people.
