The Chief Minister’s Women’s Employment Scheme in Bihar has touched millions of lives. Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the event online and praised the women beneficiaries. Under the scheme, 75 lakh women received ₹10,000 each to support their livelihood.
During the interaction, Noorjahan Khatoon from Bodhgaya shared her story. The Prime Minister encouraged her to guide women in nearby villages and raise awareness about government schemes. Noorjahan promised to take up this responsibility.
Women from different districts shared how the funds changed their lives. A woman from West Champaran said she would buy a pumping set and later invest ₹2 lakh to cultivate jowar and millet. Rita Devi from Bhojpur planned to expand her poultry business with hens and chicks, while Putul Devi of Purnia aimed to grow her sweet shop with the financial aid.
The program was broadcast across Bihar, reaching districts, blocks, and villages. Large gatherings of women, ministers, and leaders joined in. The event at Ek Aney Marg in Patna saw the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and several state ministers. The scheme highlighted Bihar’s commitment to empowering women and building stronger communities.
