Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, has been scheduled for today. The session will take place at 11 AM at the state secretariat in Amaravati, with all ministers instructed to attend. Several crucial issues are expected to be discussed during the meeting.
According to official sources, the Cabinet will review crop loss caused by Cyclone Midhili and the measures for farmer compensation. The impact of the storm on agricultural areas and rehabilitation efforts are likely to be the main focus. The government is reportedly planning to announce financial relief for affected farmers.
Another major agenda item will be the approval of a loan proposal for Amaravati’s capital city development. The coalition government plans to secure approximately ₹7,500 crore from NaBFID to accelerate infrastructure and administrative construction in the capital region.
The Cabinet is also expected to deliberate on welfare schemes, fund mobilization, and financial planning for upcoming developmental programs. Key economic and infrastructure decisions are anticipated to shape the future of Andhra Pradesh’s growth agenda.
