Bihar Elections are becoming tense as political activities rise across the state. A violent scene broke out at a Jansuraj Party meeting in Darbhanga district. The meeting was held at Taralahi Upgraded Middle School under Bahadurpur police station limits.
The Jansuraj Party was selecting its candidates through ballot voting. Soon, a dispute started over signatures on ballot papers. People began shouting, and within minutes, the argument turned into a fight. Workers threw chairs and exchanged punches. One person got a head injury.
Witnesses said a man signed several ballot papers by force and dropped them into the box. This angered others, and the situation became worse. Police arrived to control the crowd and restore peace.
Bahadurpur Station Officer Sunil Kumar said no formal complaint was filed yet. He assured that legal action would follow once they received it.
