UK charity Crimestoppers has announced a £20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those behind the rape of a Sikh woman in Oldbury.
West Midlands Police said the investigation is moving quickly after the woman, in her 20s, was attacked on Tame Road last week.
Earlier, police arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of rape. They later released him on bail without charge, which raised concerns among local community groups.
Alan Edwards, Crimestoppers’ Regional Manager, said the case has shaken residents. “We believe someone knows something. This reward is meant to encourage people to come forward anonymously. Even a small detail could help,” he said.
