The Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 are shaping into a major clash between development politics and caste-based strategies. Voting for all 243 seats will take place on November 6 and 11, and results will be announced on November 14.

The NDA, led by BJP and JDU, is promoting the vision of a Developed Bihar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlight growth, infrastructure, and good governance. They say Bihar has moved beyond Jungle Raj and is now working toward Developed India 2047.

In contrast, the Grand Alliance of RJD and Congress focuses on caste identity and social justice. A third front, Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party, is campaigning on clean politics and education, adding new energy to the contest.

Early surveys suggest the NDA is leading, but voter dissatisfaction and internal tensions could affect results. Analysts believe the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 will strongly influence both state and national politics.
