In Madhubani, a doctor held hostage robbed 10 lakh rupees in a shocking home invasion. Around 15–20 criminals attacked the house of Dr. Dinesh Kumar Dinkar in Narahia late Thursday night. They broke the main door and entered the home.
The attackers tied up the doctor and ransacked the house. They took gold, silver, and around ₹50,000 in cash. Before leaving, the criminals also destroyed the CCTV cameras installed at the property.
Neighbors heard the noise and informed the police. Officers arrived quickly and started investigating. The police are questioning locals and gathering evidence to identify the suspects.
Narahia police station in-charge Nilesh Kumar said forensic and dog squad teams are assisting in the investigation. Senior officers also visited the crime scene to oversee the inquiry.
No arrests have been made yet, but police are confident the culprits will be caught soon. The violent robbery has left the local community anxious and concerned about safety.
