Gautam Adani Praises Whistling Woods Students

Gautam Adani praises Whistling Woods students, urges India to use cinema and AI to shape global narratives.

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani praised students of Whistling Woods International as the “Gems of Bharat” during an event. He shared the stage with film icons Rajkumar Hirani, Kartik Aaryan, and Jackie Shroff. Adani called the experience inspiring and motivating.

He posted images from the event on Instagram, including pictures with filmmaker Subhash Ghai and other celebrities. He said the institute radiates creativity and passion, energizing the nation’s youth. Adani encouraged students to let their “Bharatiyata” guide India toward greatness.

Adani emphasized the importance of India controlling its global narrative using cinema, storytelling, and emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence. He cited Raj Kapoor’s film ‘Awara’ as an example of India’s soft power that strengthened Indo-Soviet cultural ties. He warned against letting Western perspectives dominate India’s stories, citing films like ‘Gandhi’ and ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ as biased narratives.

The billionaire contrasted Hollywood films like ‘Top Gun,’ which project national strength and pride. He said cinema can shape perceptions, project power, and influence global audiences. Adani urged India to tell authentic stories that reflect its culture, history, and values to the world.
