BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao met party candidate Maganti Sunitha at her residence in Jubilee Hills on Saturday morning. He interacted with her family members and appreciated her election campaign efforts. KTR said that political victories and defeats remain a part of democratic life. He assured full party support to Sunitha in future political activities.
KTR encouraged Sunitha and praised her courage during a tough electoral fight. He also spoke with her children and appreciated their emotional strength during the campaign. The BRS leader expressed confidence that Sunitha would remain active in public service and party programs.
In the Jubilee Hills by-election, Congress candidate Naveen Yadav recorded a huge victory. He secured a majority of 24,729 votes, maintaining a clear lead from the first round. Postal ballot votes also worked in favor of Congress. The lead continued to rise with every round and strengthened Congress’ confidence.
Congress dominated in several divisions like Shaikpet, Vengal Rao Nagar, and Rahmath Nagar. BRS finished in second position and failed to retain the seat. The BJP candidate lost the election and failed to secure the required deposit. The result created fresh political discussions in Hyderabad.
