Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha gave a strong Land Fraud Alert in Purnia, warning officials and citizens about fake land records. He said he will not let anyone involved in land fraud escape, especially those using forged genealogies. Mr. Sinha emphasized the Land Fraud Alert, stating he will pursue wrongdoers “to the crematorium” if they continue to cheat landowners.
During the meeting, several citizens shared complaints about unresolved land disputes. One man said his family’s land was falsely declared disputed, blocking construction on his home. He revealed that officials delayed action and that his father passed away amid the problem.
Another woman complained that her family’s land division remained unsettled, despite complete documents. Mr. Sinha questioned officials on why these issues were still pending and directed them to take immediate action.
The deputy chief minister assured that honest officers will receive full support. However, corrupt or negligent staff will face strict consequences. He urged officials to act swiftly and fairly, ensuring farmers and landowners get justice.
Mr. Sinha’s warning aims to curb land fraud and protect citizens from fake genealogies and illegal land claims.
