Mukesh Sahni Bihar elections setback has created buzz in Bihar politics. Many senior VIP leaders joined the BJP just before the polls. VIP state vice president Ranjit Sahni and Muzaffarpur district president Mahavir Sahni were the first to switch sides. BJP state president Dr. Dilip Jaiswal welcomed them with party leaders Nityanand Rai and Kedar Prasad Gupta.
Several other leaders, including RJD and VIP workers, also joined the BJP. Among them were Jitendra Swami, Manoj Singh, Rajnikant Jaiswal, Abhinav Priyadarshi, and Rajesh Kumar. Many Valmiki Samaj members supported the move.
This Mukesh Sahni Bihar elections setback comes when his party is fighting 15 seats under the Grand Alliance. Sahni, named deputy CM face, is campaigning with Tejashwi Yadav. However, he has not reacted to these defections yet. Political experts believe this could weaken his position ahead of voting.
