NIA Conducts Raids in Multiple States in Vijayanagaram Terror Conspiracy Case

NIA conducts raids in multiple states, seizing digital devices, cash in the Vijayanagaram terror conspiracy case investigation.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has once again conducted a series of raids in the Vijayanagaram terror conspiracy case. The agency carried out searches in 16 locations across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Delhi, and Maharashtra.

In Andhra Pradesh, several items were seized during the raids, including digital devices, cash, and suspicious objects. These items are believed to be linked to the ongoing investigation into a potential conspiracy against the central government.

The NIA had earlier arrested Siraj Ur Rehman from Vijayanagaram in July, who confessed during interrogation that he was involved in plotting against the government. His arrest and subsequent confession have significantly advanced the investigation.

This operation highlights the continued efforts of the NIA to disrupt terror activities across India. The raids are part of a broader strategy to address and dismantle networks that threaten national security.
