Patna police raided a ganja smuggling office and caught a major drug gang. Six men were arrested for transporting cannabis using the Rajdhani Express and luxury cars. Patna acted as a hub, and the drugs were sold in Delhi and Varanasi.
On December 28, police received a tip about suspicious activity near Rajendra Nagar ROB. They stopped a car and found 34 kg of ganja in two trolleys and a bag. The arrested men, including Anil Kumar, Satyam Dutt Gupta, Dilkhush Kumar, Arvind Kumar, and Amit Raj, admitted they were part of the smuggling gang.
The gang leader, Vikki Kumar Jaiswal, ran the ganja office from an Ashok Nagar apartment. Police raided the apartment and seized 85 kg of ganja and two luxury cars. Vikki was arrested, but his brother Ricky is still on the run.
Police said the total seized items included three cars, two walkie-talkies, seven phones, and electronic scales. The cannabis is valued at around ₹1 crore. Investigators are now searching for more members of the network.
