On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, Pope Leo XIV prayers for PM Modi were offered at the Vatican. His Holiness, the spiritual head of the Catholic Church, prayed for Modi’s long, healthy, and impactful life.
Member of Parliament Satnam Singh Sandhu shared this historic moment, describing it as deeply spiritual. He said it was a privilege to lead the IMF delegation along with Harsh Vardhan Shringla and Prof. Himani Sood. The Papal Audience, attended by 30,000 faithful at St. Peter’s Square, made the event even more memorable.
Sandhu presented His Holiness with the book “Heart to Heart: Reverence of Saga”. The book reflects Prime Minister Modi’s strong and special bond with the Sikh community. This symbolic gesture was received as a sign of respect and interfaith harmony.
Calling it a blessed moment in the Holy Vatican City, Sandhu stated that the occasion reaffirmed India’s rising global leadership under PM Modi. The Indian Minorities Federation also welcomed the recognition, saying it strengthens India’s international image.
