POWERGRID Pays Rs 574 Crore Final Dividend for FY 2024-25 to Government of India

POWERGRID pays Rs 574 Crore final dividend for FY 2024-25 to the Ministry of Power, bringing total dividends to Rs 4,297 Crore.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise, paid Rs 574.35 Crore as the final dividend for FY 2024-25 to the Ministry of Power, Government of India. This brings the total dividend for the year to Rs 4,297.40 Crore, including interim dividends.

RK Tyagi, CMD of POWERGRID, presented the final dividend cheque to Manohar Lal, Union Minister of Power, in the presence of the Directors of POWERGRID.

As of August 31, 2025, POWERGRID operates 286 sub-stations and over 1,80,864 km of transmission lines. The company has a transformation capacity of 5,77,331 MVA. POWERGRID uses advanced technology, automation, and digital solutions to maintain a transmission system availability of more than 99.84%.

This achievement highlights POWERGRID’s vital role in India’s power infrastructure and its ongoing support for the Government of India’s energy initiatives.
