Prashant Kishor of the Jan Suraj Party has raised serious questions about Samrat Chowdhury Tamil degree controversy. He alleged that the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister’s Pre-Foundation Course (PFC) degree from Kamaraj University is fake. According to Kishor, only Tamil-speaking students can take that course, but Samrat is not a Tamil speaker. He demanded that the truth be made public.
In his election affidavit, Samrat listed two qualifications—an honorary D.Litt. and a PFC course from Kamaraj University. Kishor claimed this degree was fraudulent and promised legal action. He also said Samrat had earlier spent time in jail for murder charges and allegedly used fake documents for release, asking why that detail was missing from his affidavit. The issue has triggered a heated political debate in Bihar ahead of the state elections.
