Pritam Kumar appointment as Tejashwi Yadav’s personal secretary has drawn attention in Bihar’s political circles. The Bihar Administrative Service officer will soon take charge as the official personal secretary to the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
Pritam Kumar was earlier awaiting posting. His services have now been placed under the Parliamentary Affairs Department. The General Administration Department issued a formal notification regarding this decision on Monday.
Another notification will soon be released by the Parliamentary Affairs Department. This order will officially confirm his appointment as personal secretary to Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.
This move is seen as significant because the Leader of Opposition’s office plays a key role in legislative strategy. Experienced officers are often chosen for such sensitive responsibilities.
Along with this, the General Administration Department has announced other postings. Aishwarya Kashyap, District Panchayat Raj Officer of Munger, has been appointed as Special Officer in the Mines and Geology Department.
At the same time, Vishwajeet Kumar, Sub-Divisional Public Grievance Redressal Officer of Tekari in Gaya district, has been made Deputy Secretary in the same department.
These administrative changes signal a fresh round of adjustments within Bihar’s governance structure.
