The Sidhu Moosewala murder case saw another important hearing in the Mansa court on Friday. Police employee Manpreet Singh’s testimony was recorded, which the counsel described as a crucial part of the investigation. Accused Deepak Mundi was also produced in court.
Moosewala’s father, Balkaur Singh, who was to testify, could not appear due to health problems. He filed an application seeking exemption from personal appearance. Because of his absence, the shooters involved in the case were not produced in court. However, other accused joined the proceedings through video conferencing.
The court has now fixed the next hearing for October 17.
