The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) led by Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav has announced its RJD candidates list 2025 for the Bihar Assembly Elections. The list features 143 names across constituencies, highlighting both senior leaders and new entrants.
Tejashwi Yadav will contest from Raghopur, while Bhojpuri star Khesari Lal Yadav has been given the ticket from Chhapra. Tej Pratap Yadav’s sister-in-law Dr. Karishma Rai will contest from Parsa. RJD has fielded Veena Devi from Mokama, Dr. Faraz Fatmi from Kewati, and Prof. Chandrashekhar from Madhepura. The RJD candidates list 2025 also includes several women and young leaders to attract a wider voter base.
The RJD is contesting the polls in alliance with Congress, VIP, CPI-ML, CPM, and CPI. The seat-sharing details are yet to be declared. With this strong lineup, Tejashwi aims to challenge the ruling NDA and bring back RJD’s dominance in Bihar politics. The list reflects RJD’s effort to mix experience with youth and balance regional representation.
