RJD’s Attack on JDU-BJP Seat Sharing

RJD on JDU-BJP seat sharing, Bihar elections 2025

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has strongly criticized the JDU-BJP alliance over their seat-sharing plan for the Bihar Assembly elections. The key phrase “RJD on JDU-BJP seat sharing” highlights the growing political tension in Bihar.

RJD leader Mrityunjay Tiwari said the BJP has reduced Nitish Kumar’s JDU from its elder brother status by giving it equal seats (101 each). He added that BJP will not make Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister after the elections. Tiwari also accused BJP of planning to destroy smaller NDA allies like Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM and Upendra Kushwaha’s RLM, claiming the BJP intends to merge JDU into its own party.

Tiwari said this formula shows the NDA’s hunger for power, not partnership. Meanwhile, RJD leaders Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav said their Grand Alliance seat-sharing is almost complete and free from internal conflict.
