RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav Bihar Election Campaign 2025 began on Monday with a roadshow in Danapur, Bihar. He sought votes for jailed RJD candidate Rital Yadav, who is contesting from behind bars. Lalu’s roadshow started from Digha and ended at Khagaul, covering nearly 15 km. His daughter and MP Misa Bharti also joined him.
Thousands of supporters gathered to see Lalu Yadav during his energetic campaign. He told the crowd that his son, Tejashwi Yadav, would soon become the Chief Minister of Bihar. Lalu said the alliance campaign was going well and praised local leaders for their efforts. According to him, people are showing strong support for Tejashwi and RJD candidates.
RJD candidate Rital Yadav is currently lodged in Bhagalpur Central Jail in an extortion case involving ₹50 lakh. He had requested bail for campaigning, but the Patna High Court rejected his plea. Despite being in jail, his family and Lalu Yadav are actively campaigning for him. Rital is facing BJP’s Ramkripal Yadav from the Danapur seat.
