In the peaceful village of Chotala near Hoshiarpur, Sehjaldeep Kaur NDA merit list success has inspired every rural girl. The daughter of a small farmer, Sehjaldeep secured the 13th rank in the Sehjaldeep Kaur NDA merit list, becoming Punjab’s pride. She studied without any coaching, relying on pure dedication. A topper with 97.8% in Class XII from PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gajjan, she dreamt of joining the Navy after hearing stories from her cousin in service.
Her first attempt in 2024 failed, but she didn’t give up. With hard work and training at Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute, Mohali, she cleared the NDA exam in 2025. Sehjal topped the SSB interview in Bhopal with 570 marks — the highest among all boys and girls. Her parents, initially unaware of NDA’s meaning, now beam with pride.
