Tej Pratap Yadav on Lalu Prasad Yadav has become a hot topic in Bihar politics. As the eldest son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tej Pratap made headlines by saying that Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav are under his father’s protection, but he is not.
Speaking to the media, Tej Pratap Yadav said that leaders like Karpoori Thakur, Mahatma Gandhi, and Baba Saheb Ambedkar worked for the people. He added that while Lalu Yadav protects Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi, he himself stands with the poor and youth of Bihar. Tej Pratap said he would move ahead with his own strength and people’s support.
After being expelled from the Rashtriya Janata Dal and his family, Tej Pratap Yadav formed a new party called Janshakti Janata Dal. He will contest the election from the Mahua constituency. Earlier, Mahua had elected him as MLA in 2015, but he later shifted to Hasanpur in 2020. Reports suggest he left Mahua due to declining popularity.
