Bihar Election 2025 has started with big political changes. Three leaders from Nitish Kumar’s JDU have joined Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD. The move adds new energy to the Grand Alliance before the first phase of Bihar Election 2025.
The leaders who joined RJD are Santosh Kushwaha, former MP from Purnia, Rahul Sharma, former MLA from Ghosi, and Chanakya Prakash Ranjan, son of Giridhari Yadav, a former MP from Banka. Their entry strengthens Tejashwi Yadav’s reach in key districts.
Ajay Nishad, a two-time MP from Muzaffarpur, has returned to the BJP. He had contested the 2024 Lok Sabha polls on a Congress ticket but lost. His comeback gives a morale boost to the BJP.
The nomination process for 121 seats began today. However, both the NDA and the INDIA alliance are still finalizing seat-sharing talks. BJP and JDU are holding final discussions, while the Grand Alliance may announce its list in two days. Bihar politics is now in full election mode, with shifting loyalties and rising excitement.
