US President Donald Trump has attacked Swedish activist Greta Thunberg after Israel deported her from the Gaza flotilla. He called her a “troublemaker” and said she has an “anger management problem.” Trump also mocked her anger, claiming she should “see a doctor.”

Thunberg had joined more than 160 campaigners in the Global Sumud Flotilla. Israeli forces stopped the boats as they tried to break the naval blockade on Gaza. Authorities detained about 450 people, including Thunberg, four French lawmakers, and many international activists. Israel later deported 171 of them, raising the total expulsions to 341.

Israel argued the flotilla carried no aid and only wanted confrontation. Officials accused the group of acting in Hamas’s interests. They also rejected reports of prison mistreatment, insisting that detainees kept all legal rights.

The blockade on Gaza has existed since 2007, when Hamas took power. Activists often launch flotillas to challenge it, though Israel blocks them each time.Trump, meanwhile, praised Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan for helping peace talks. US, Israeli, and Hamas delegations are now in Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh to discuss Trump’s 20-point plan to end the Gaza war.
