On the day of the operation, the contractor handed over the marked currency notes. The vigilance team immediately entered the office and caught the Nazir while accepting the cash. Officers recovered the money on the spot.
After the arrest, the vigilance team questioned the accused for several hours. Later, they took him into custody and sent him for legal proceedings. He will now face trial under anti-corruption laws.
